Clans
A clan is a row with a tag and a name, not a Discord role. The tag is what people say, so it is what most of the bot shows.
#The rules
All three are enforced by the database, so two people doing the same thing in the same second both get a straight answer about which rule they hit.
| Rule | Means |
|---|---|
| A tag is unique per league | RVN and rvn are the same clan |
| A name is unique per league | Two clans cannot both be Ravens |
| One clan per player | Somebody in a clan cannot be added to another |
#Running one
/clan create takes a tag, a name and optionally an owner. /clan add and /clan remove
move people. /clan role sets owner, leader or member - there is one owner at a time, and
promoting somebody puts the previous owner back to leader.
/clan join asks rather than adds; the request goes to the clan's leaders. /clan requests
lists what is waiting, /clan withdraw takes back one you sent.
#Pictures
/clan pfp with an image sets one, with no attachment clears it. A manager can set any
clan's; an owner or leader can set theirs.
The image goes through the vault like a result screenshot, so the link keeps working. A clan with no picture is drawn from its tag.
#Ranks
/clan rank, from the clan ladder - a separate ladder from player ranks. See
Ranks & divisions.
#Disbanding
/clan disband deletes nothing. The row stays, its matches still point at it, its members
are released. Its tag and name stay spoken for, because its history is still attached.
#Records
Counted from its matches whenever asked for, so a corrected match corrects the record.
